Meet the founder

Hi there! I'm Stephanie, the founder of Usability View. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to tell you about the company and why I created it.

In 2025, after spending 20 years working in product development in the fields of quality assurance, user research, user experience (UX), design and leadership, I wanted to build a company where I could use my expertise and experience to help others.

Having lived in Australia and the UK, and working with companies in Europe, the United Staes and Asia, I decided it was time to come back to my home city of Wellington, New Zealand and build my future here, where my journey started.

My vision for Usability View was to create a product that evaluates usability in a way that gives businesses clear direction and actionable insights. An online service that helps to improve products and create a better customer experience. To offer a service that was fast, flexible and easy to access. This vision gave birth to our Usability Evaluation productised service.

In addition to this, I wanted to share what I had learnt over the years to help educate and up-skill others that are interested or passionate about the craft of UX.  This desire to help others led to the development of our Consultancy Services and Training.

By creating Usability View, I found a way where I could be helpful, and that is the driving motivation for me and this company. To help others learn, get direction, answers, inspiration and guidance to ultimately create products that are successful and easy to use.
